Samurai Core Men’s Bjj Gi-Grey

I train BJJ a few times a week, so having a gi that's comfortable and easy to move in makes a big difference. The grey ARMORA BEAST gi has a nice lightweight feel, especially during longer sessions when you're drilling and rolling back to back. I like the colour as well, something a bit different from the usual black and blue gis at the gym. After a hard session, I'm usually ready to throw my kit in the wash and get ready for the next class, so a practical gi is important to me. Overall, a good option for everyday training without spending a fortune.

Been looking for a lightweight gi for regular BJJ sessions and this one does the job. I really like the grey colour with the green branding, looks different from the usual gis. The fit is comfortable and I have good freedom of movement when training. So far, I'm pleased with it. Would be nice to see more colour options in the future.

This is probably the oddest-fitting gi I've ever owned. I typically wear an A3, but had to get the A2 for an OK fit. (5'11", 205 lbs, athletic build.) The length is fine, but it's large around the armpits. It puffs out even when it's wrapped as tight as possible. When rolling, that extra fabric can make the collar pop open and offer grips to my partner that I don't want to offer.

Additionally, out of the box, it's as stiff as a board. Hoping after a few wash cycles it loosens up.

That being said, it is incredibly lightweight, which is very nice. The grey colour looks great, and the green ARMORA BEAST branding gives it a distinctive look. If the fabric gets a little softer and more flexible over time, I can see myself really enjoying this gi. The stitching and overall construction seem to be very good. It feels sturdy despite being so light.

**A few months later and plenty of washes:** The gi has softened up quite a bit and feels much better to roll in. Once it's broken in, the material feels more comfortable. I'd definitely recommend giving it some time to break in.

This is my second gi from ARMORA BEAST. I'm 5'11", 190 lbs.

It's what you would expect from ARMORA BEAST, well made and comfortable.

The weave feels nice against bare skin and is pliable.

The stitching is secure and straight, and it is reinforced in all the right places.

The size is a pretty typical A3.

Out of the box, the sleeves are pretty long.

I washed and dried it on HOT and saw just a little shrinkage. My pics posted are prior to washing; the sleeves shrunk maybe 0.5 inch.

The sleeves are probably just right now.

The collar is thick and a little rubbery.

The grey colour looks great, and the green ARMORA BEAST branding gives it a nice finish.

The pants look to be made quite well, with good stitching and a comfortable fit. The length is about 0.5 inch longer than my other gi.

As an owner of two ARMORA BEAST gis, I can say I really like them both. When it's hot, I'll be wearing the lightweight gi for sure. My other gi will still be worn regularly as well.

If you have long arms, this gi may be a good fit. If you have shorter arms, check the size chart carefully before ordering. I've washed and dried my gis on hot; shrinking is minimal, but you do get some.

This gi has quickly become one of my favourites. It looks great, and the fit is spot on. I'm 5'7" and 163 lbs, and the A1 fits me really well. It's also really comfortable to roll in.

The best thing is how lightweight it feels. It's lighter than some of the other gis I've used, which makes a difference during longer training sessions. The material feels good, and I really like the overall design.

My only concern is whether it will be suitable for every competition, so I'd recommend checking the relevant rules before competing. Overall, really happy with this gi and a great option for regular training!
